i checked in and the complimentary refreshments in the room were a total treat (especially after my journey!). the hotel retained many of its original features, a fantastic nod to its history.
the air conditioning made a slight whirring noise at night, a little distracting.

My room, a superior king room, was smaller than i expected. i found the lack of natural light problematic. The window faced an internal shaft. the air conditioning unit seemed to have a mind of its own and i could not adjust it correctly. these issues detracted significantly from the overall experience.

the location was great. i found the staff very helpful and lovely! the room was nice and cool during a very hot weekend.
The breakfast was low effort. Portions were small. we didn't have apple phones and so couldn't connect to the tv. there were no paid tv options.

the location suited my plans perfectly given its proximity to darling harbour i had a stylish room and the bathroom was great the bed was also very large and featured the best pillows i have experienced in a hotel in quite some time the hotel maintained a quiet atmosphere throughout my stay. i especially liked the complimentary snacks offered and found them a nice touch.
the room i stayed in had no view i could only see the walls of adjacent buildings i suspect a car park and other hotels fill the surrounding area i didn't find it too bothersome.

my room was quiet and the bed was comfortable the bathroom was clean and well stocked with toiletries dining was a treat the food was delicious and the staff provided great service i enjoyed my room.

the front desk staff were amazing they were very helpful and cute they made my check-in process smooth and pleasant the staff offered recommendations and ensured i had everything i needed for a comfortable stay it was fantastic.

the hotel provides quick access to darling harbour via pyrmont bridge it is great i found the location beneficial for attending a show at the lyric theatre exploring the harbour and visiting the rocks district proved easy from the hotel.

The bar and lounge downstairs offered a lovely atmosphere. The hotel is near the International Convention Centre. There are multiple cafes and green spaces nearby. The hotel is within walking distance of the Lyric theatre.
